Comme je vous le disais j’ai été invitée par Amylee à participer à sa « Fashion Week Illustrée » et voici ma modeste contribution.

Les consignes étaient, je cite : « Dessiner une silhouette féminine en pied, debout, sur podium portant un look fortement inspiré de mon univers créatif ou de mes tableaux (ambiance colorée, motifs pop, look tendance) avec ta touche graphique. »

Bon toutes les autres apparemment ont décidé de faire défiler leurs nénettes en tenues d’été alors que moi je suis restée sur l’hiver… Ben quoi c’est la Fashion Week automne-hiver 2010/2011 qui défile en ce moment à Paris !

En tout cas c’était un bon exercice de travailler le fond de mon image, moi qui fais plutôt sobre d’habitude.

As I told you in my previous post, I was invited by Amylee to take part in her Illustrated Fashion Week and here is my contribution.

The instructions were, I quote : « Draw a woman, standing on a catwalk, wearing an outfit inspired by my creative field or my paintings (colorful atmosphere-pop patterns-trendy look) with your graphic touch. »

It seems all the other participants decided to draw their silhouettes in spring/summer outfits when I only stayed in Winter… But, isn’t it Fall/Winter 2010/2011 Fashion Week going on right now in Paris ?

By the way, it’s been a good exercise for me to work the background of the picture as I usually let it really light and simple.
